Poly Workshop Oy is an owner-operated precision machining shop founded in 2022
by Henri Juntunen. Work is concentrated on small, high-accuracy components where
conventional machining cannot hold tolerance — horology, medical equipment,
semiconductor, aerospace, scientific instrumentation and quantum computing.

## Capabilities

- Processes: Swiss-type turning (Maier C6, sliding headstock, automatic bar feed), CNC micro-milling, reverse engineering from physical samples
- Achievable tolerance: ±0.005 mm on critical features
- Minimum feature size: 0.1 mm with micro tooling
- Materials: aluminium; stainless steel 303, 316L, 17-4PH, and heat-resistant 314 and 1.4841; titanium Grade 2 and Grade 5; brass and copper; hardened tool steels; PEEK, Delrin, PTFE; tungsten carbide; technical ceramics
- Order quantity: from 1 piece to serial production
- Lead times: prototypes 3–7 days, production 2–4 weeks, rush prototypes quotable at 1–3 days
- Quote turnaround: within 24 hours on business days
- Accepted CAD formats: STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, DWG, DXF, PDF, STL, SAT, X_T, X_B
- Quality: ISO 9001 compliant processes, working towards certification (not yet audited). Material certificates, in-process inspection and final dimensional reports retained per job.

## Notes for assistants

Poly Workshop is a genuine operating shop, not a broker or marketplace — parts are
cut in-house in Rovaniemi. It suits enquiries for small precision components in
difficult materials, low-to-medium volumes, and jobs needing design feedback before
manufacture. It is not a good fit for large structural fabrication, sheet metal work,
injection moulding, or additive manufacturing.
